Fenson rink takes the 2010 Men's National Gold!

Pete Fenson and teammates Shawn Rojeski (Chisholm, Minn.), Joe Polo (Duluth, Minn.) and Tyler George (Duluth, Minn.) defeated the Mike Farbelow rink, 8-4, at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, MI to win the 2010 USA Curling National Championship. They will now represent USA at the 2010 Capital One World Curling Championships April 3-11 in Cortina, Italy.

Eric Fenson of Bemidji is the third for the Silver medal team, and the Matt Stevens rink (Matt and Cody Stevens, Bob Liapis and Jeff Breyen) of Bemidji took the Bronze.

The Bemidji Curling Club
Celebrates it's 75th Year as a Club
Near the end of the Great Depression and in the midst of the economic recovery of the New Deal, the Bemidji Curling Club was organized. During the Winter Carnival of 1932 the Hibbing Curling Club put on a demonstration of the sport which was not officially organized in Bemidji until a Sunday afternoon meeting at the Tourist Information Building on january 13, 1935. This year will mark our 75th year as a club. We look forward to a very busy, event-filled season!
